Mashed potatoes are often served as sides at dinner, they may seem  gluten-free but can be thickened with wheat flour, so always  double-check with the host.

Ham

While ham is naturally gluten-free, the glaze or seasoning on it may contain gluten. Always read the label and check for gluten and when in doubt, contact the manufacturer.

Gravy & Sauces

Gravy is often thickened with a roux, a mixture of wheat flour and fat, making it not gluten-free. Other sauces may be the same or have other gluten ingredients.

Candy

Easter candy often can contain gluten. Most commonly in the form of – Malted barley – Barley malt extract – Barley malt – Enriched wheat flour – Wheat flour

If it's got a crust, it probably has gluten, unless it was specifically made gluten-free.

Perhaps the most obvious form of gluten containing Easter food are breads. From corn breads to rye, always be cautious.
