Celiac Patient Referrals and Resources

Hi, I'm Tayler! 👋

1 on 1 Celiac Coaching with a Celiac disease nutritionist di taking a virtual call - Tayler Silfverduk, celiac dietitian

My name is Tayler Silfverduk and I’m a registered dietitian specializing in celiac disease.

Here's Why you Should Care

As you may know, a 2012 study following 122 celiac patients found that as few as 15% of celiac patients are referred to a registered dietitian for support within the first 5 years of their diagnosis.

Now that study is 10 years old but when polling my own celiac audience on Instagram, I got 365 responses. 56 (15%) said they got help from their doctor/dietitian (many were past clients of mine) and 309 (85%) said they’ve been piecing it together by themselves ever since. Meaning that it’s still a problem.

And we wonder why 56% of patients with celiac still have damage after ~7.5 years of living gluten-free. Especially when that same research shows that basic celiac safety education was a significant predictor in healing.

That’s why I’m here to help.

Here are 3 Ways I can Help

Please note that I do not accept health insurance so often starting those recently diagnosed with my Celiac Crash Course tends to be the most cost effective as it covers what would take over 12 sessions with me for a fraction of the cost.
