- our physical symptoms can change β €

- we have to build new skills β €
and not everyone believes us at first (or sometimes ever) when we tell them about our body's new needs β €

and now we deal with people gaslighting our body's reactions, doubting our body's needs, and judging whether or not our body's look "sick enough"... β €

...as if our appearance is the only proof we are sick, as if is the only justification for respecting our needs... β €

one of my clients told me "I can't wait for things one of my clients told me "I can't wait for things to feel routine" and man was that such a powerful statement

I've said before, I don't like saying celiac disease will get easy because it's not, it's a chore that we don't get to take days off from, but it can become routine.

and one of the things I think is an important part of the routine?
making sure your set aside time after stressful food events to take care of you.
